TOUR INFORMATION
We conduct our fossil hunting trips along the Peace River in
Southwest Florida. Exact locations will be given to you at the time you book your fossil hunting trip.We meet at a given location at 10:00am for orientation at which time we discuss Florida fossil history and show you some of the fossils you most likely to find and how to identify them.The tours are mainly walk in trips,in other words,there will be a place to park your car with a short walking distance to the river.We usually call it a day between 2:30-3:00 pm.(this info will be gone over with you again when you book your
fossil hunt.)Deposits are non-refundable,however we will
re-schedule you for another trip at another time.
It is possible that we may have to re-schedule your trip due
to bad weather or high water levels,so if possible have more then one date in mind for your trip.
Our guides at Back In Time Expeditions will guide you to
areas known to contain fossils and will provide you with the
equipment needed to find them along with helping you identify your finds. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the fossil hunts.For further info on fossil hunting in Florida
wilderness trips and come with a certain amount of risk,therefore we ask that you print out and sign our liability release form and bring it with you,turning it in at the orientation. Don't worry,if you forget,we will have extra forms at the orientation.
